Hwa Crawford: Spring Blossoms & Summer Breezes

March 31st - May 15th

Join us at our Fine Art Gallery/Wine Tasting Room in Middleburg as we present local oil painter, Hwa Crawford. The Exibit, Spring Blossoms & Summer Breezes showcases the beauty of Virginia's warmer seasons from the Cherry Blossoms on the National Mall to shady summery days by the Potomac. Guests are invited to meet the artist while enjoying BOW wines (plus some from our local friends), live music, & some light fare. The opening reception will be Saturday, March 31st from 4pm-7pm.

Hwa Crawford currently resides in beautiful Northern Virginia. She moved from her native Korea to America when in her early twenties to study at George Mason University.  “My visual art is an expression of joy in being able to share my love of the beauty found in nature.  Through painting I am able to explore and express my feelings and thoughts about the beautiful world we inhabit and the wondrous phenomenon of life."

Hwa is currently studying art privately with award-winning Fine Artist, Armand Cabrera.   Hwa is active with the Great Falls Foundation for the Arts. She is an Artist Member of Great Falls Atelier and the Torpedo Factory Art League in Alexandria.  She has been juried into highly-regarded regional art shows such as Clarke County’s “Art at the Mill”, the "Scapes - International Landscape Show" at the Art League Gallery in Old Town Alexandria, solo and group exhibitions at the Fairfax County Library and the acclaimed Great Falls Studios annual Studio Tour, to name a few.  Reflecting her personality, Hwa's Great Falls, Virginia, home is filled with music and visual art.  Her husband and two sons are creative artists and musicians.
